Kit Cody
CEO - Rwanda Ventures
Kit is a serial entrepreneur with 15 years experience founding and running Internet and new media companies. Prior to joining Rwanda Ventures, he founded Trustys.com, a leading services marketplace in the United States. Prior to that, he was General Manger of Web Strategy and Operations for AARP, the world's largest organization, VP of Product at Bolt Media, a youth-focused new media company, founder and president of Gypsy Productions, and Chief Production Officer at Concrete Media. Kit received a B.A. in International Relations from Hampshire College, and a M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University. He lives with his wife and three children in Kigali.
Gili Nossan
Managing Director - Agribusiness- Rwanda Ventures
Gili runs Rwanda Ventures' agribusiness operations. He has 30 years international experience planning and executing farm modernization programs. He trained farmers in the United States and Italy on dairy management technology, built a state-of-the-art 2,000-cow dairy in Kazan, Russia, and was the principal consultant in expansion and modernization of his Excellency Paul Kagame's farm in Rwanda. He has been training farmers and managing agribusiness operations in Rwanda since 2005. He received a B.A. in Agriculture from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and served in the Israel Defense Forces.
Jeffrey Rukwaya
Agribusiness Manager- Rwanda Ventures
Jeff assists with agribusiness consulting and operations for Rwanda Ventures. Previously, he worked for Genesis LTD as the Director of Finance and Administration and has extensive consulting experience from his work with Globafan Consultants, where he focused on taxation and audits. Jeff holds a BA in Accounting from the School of Finance and Banking in Rwanda and is studying to become a member of the Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Jeremie Mushaka
Accountant- Rwanda Ventures
Jeremie leads finance and administration for Rwanda Ventures. He holds a BA in Accounting from the School of Finance and Banking in Rwanda and is studying to become a member of the Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Yvonne Ingabire
Accountant
Yvonne joined Rwanda Works in March 2010. She uses her skills and experience to maintian adequate financial transactions for the smooth operation of the program activities. Prior to this,she worked as an intern for The Access Project through the RHPIH program from2007 -2008 and later was hired as an accountant in 2008.She holds a BBA in accounting from the school of Finance and Banking at the National University of Rwanda.
Berna Rusagara
Program Manager
Berna joined Rwanda Works in January 2009 and worked with local counsel in its establishment in Rwanda. Among the Rwanda based operations, she assists in the implementation of all program activites, manages all communications and administrative logistics. In her spare time, she does alot of charity work. She is the secretary and youth coordinator of Rwandan Women and Young Adults Network Association. During her time in Uni, she was an executive member of YUBSA and EASA which are both student-run nonprofit organizations whose mission is to promote self empowerment among minorities. She holds a B.A in International Development Studies from York University in Canada.
Josh Ruxin
Chairman and Founder
Josh is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Public Health at the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University and the founder and director of the Access Project, the Millennium Villages Project in Rwanda, and Access' Neglected Tropical Disease Control Program. Josh has extensive experience operating at the intersection of public health, business and international development. In 1991, Josh co-founded and served as vice president of ontheFRONTIER, a strategy consulting firm. During his five years there and at the Monitor Group, he led projects in a dozen developing countries and was an advisor to government and private sector leaders on business strategy and economic development.
He holds a B.A. in History of Science and Medicine from Yale University, where he was a Truman Scholar. He received a Masters of Public Health from Columbia University and a Ph.D. in History from the University of London, where he was a Marshall Scholar. He is currently based in Kigali, Rwanda, where he lives with his wife and two daughters.

Blaise Karibushi
Country Director, Access Project
Blaise is the country director of the Access Project in Rwanda. He joined the Access Project in 2006 with over 16 years of experience in planning, implementation and execution of public health programs. In his current role as Country Director, Blaise provides strategic and operational oversight and daily coordination of activities for each of Access's major initiatives, which include the improvement of management at 79 health centers across Rwanda and the development and implementation of a program to control Neglected Tropical Diseases, in partnership with the Ministry of Health. Before assuming his current position, Blaise served as the national coordinator of the Global Fund Project Management Unit in Rwanda, where he managed four Global Fund projects with a total budget of $100 million. He holds an MPH from Boston University and BSc in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
