The Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation

The Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation was established in 1999 by Garth Brooks and Bo Mitchell. The Foundation contributes financial resources to nonprofit organizations that effectively serve and benefit children with an emphasis on health, education and inner-city services.

With a generous grant from the Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation, RW is constructing a new health center in Ngeruka sector, Rwanda. The new Ngeruka Health Center will provide health services to more than 27,000 people -- many of them children -- who previously had either limited or no access to health care.

The Schmidt Family Foundation

The Schmidt Family Foundation was established in 2006 by Wendy and Eric Schmidt. With a focus on environmental and energy practices, the Foundation brings philanthropic resources to come of the century's greatest challenges across the globe.

The Schmidt Family Foundation is committed to improving access to and quality of health in Rwanda. Their generous donation is funding construction at two new health centers in Rwanda.

The Segal Family Foundation

The Segal Family Foundation works to enhance people's lives in Sub Saharan Africa through efforts that improve capabilities and help people assume greater responsibility and effect on their quality of life. With a generous gift to Rwanda Works, the Segal Family Foundation is funding the construction and operation of a dairy collection center in Rwanda. The new collection center will provide farmers with important inputs, such as feed, and access to refrigeration to extend the life of their milk. The collection center will sell high quality, hygienic milk, improving the nutrition of thousands of Rwandans.
